With pride in their hearts and passion in every word written, Pudtol District emerged as the Overall Champion in the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference held on February 17–18, 2026 at Flora National High School in Flora.
Showcasing excellence in both the Elementary and Secondary levels, Pudtol garnered an impressive 124 points in the Elementary category and 102 points in the Secondary category, bringing home a remarkable total of 226 points. Each point represented more than a score on paper, it carried the sleepless nights of preparation, the countless drafts revised, the practices done after class and the courage of young journalists who dared to compete and speak their truth.
This victory is not only a testament to the exceptional talent of the students; it is equally a tribute to their dedicated coaches who stood behind them every step of the way. From patiently correcting grammar and sharpening headlines, to guiding photo compositions and refining scripts, the coaches served as mentors, motivators and steady pillars of support. Their guidance transformed raw potential into award-winning performances, proving that success in campus journalism is always a shared achievement between student and mentor.

To all our student-journalists and coaches; winners and participants alike, we celebrate you. To those who brought home medals, your hard work truly paid off.
